Privacy Policy

This page is maintained by the Plucked team to explain what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is app-owned editable content and is not an independent audit or certification.
What we collect
- Account data for hosts: email, name, hashed password (or provider identity).
- Property data: names, addresses, welcome notes, cover images, and item listings you upload.
- Guest checkout data: name, email, shipping address, order details. Guests do not need to create an account.
- Scan data: photos captured by guests during a scan are sent to our AI vision model to identify items in the space.
- Usage data: standard logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) for security and reliability.
How we use it
- To operate Plucked: show listings, match camera frames to items, process orders.
- To communicate with you about your account, orders, and product changes.
- To detect and prevent abuse.
- To improve the product in aggregate.
Camera and photos
The scan experience uses your device camera in your browser. Frames are sent over an encrypted connection to our servers for AI identification. We do not store scan frames longer than needed to complete the scan.
Subprocessors
We use trusted providers to run the service: Lovable Cloud for hosting, database, and storage; the Lovable AI Gateway (Google Gemini) for vision identification. Adding a payment provider will be disclosed here before it goes live.
Retention
We keep account and order data as long as your account is active or as required by law. You can request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@pluckd.co.
Your choices
- Access, correct, or delete your data by emailing privacy@pluckd.co.
- Deny camera access in your browser to skip the scan experience.
- Close your host account from settings.
Security
Data is stored in a managed Postgres database with row-level security. Traffic is served over HTTPS. Access to production systems is restricted.
Children
Plucked is not intended for children under 13.
